AKEMO Ventures Limited is registered in Uganda and operates a farm in Zirobwe, Luwero District, where we cultivate maize commercially and manage the land, crops, infrastructure and people that make a productive farm.
From that operating base we are developing a broader agribusiness: commercial poultry, horticulture, agricultural processing and trade, and — over the longer term — coffee and agricultural exports and strategic partnerships.
We are deliberately focused. Agriculture and agribusiness are the core of AKEMO Ventures today, and we clearly distinguish the activities we operate from those we are developing or evaluating.

AKEMO Ventures is being developed to create productive agricultural enterprises and commercial opportunities in Uganda, beginning with our agricultural operations in Zirobwe, Luwero.
We started where every sound agribusiness should: with the land itself — preparing it, cultivating it and learning what it takes to farm commercially, season by season.
Our ambition is to strengthen production, develop agricultural value chains, create employment and build commercial partnerships that connect Ugandan agriculture with regional and international markets. We intend to grow steadily, and to earn the trust of partners through the quality of our work.
